Opportunity to join a busy practice of 4 pediatricians that supports one hospital in Georgetown, SC, with a Level II nursery. The practice is 60 miles north of the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston with excellent relations and subspecialty coverage. 35,000 ambulatory visits per year with a large special needs population. Candidates should be:
: Board certified or eligible in Pediatrics
: Call 5th nights/5th weekend
: Attendance at c-sections required
: $125,000 for new grads
: Salary negotiable for experienced and subspecialty trained pediatricians
: $25,000 signing/relocation bonus
: Liberal fringe benefit package, including 6 weeks annual leave
: $4,000 expense account for travel, meetings, etc.
: 4-year commitment agreement

132 bed state of the art medical center that is committed to providing 24-hour emergency services, and specialized nursing services that include an intensive care unit and step down unit, along with medical/surgical; OB Gyn and related services including labor and delivery, post partum and level II nursery and pediatrics. The hospital's onsite laboratory provides hematology, chemistry, microbiology, histology, cytology, pathology and blood bank services. The organizations surgical services include inpatient and same day surgery, PACU and endoscopy capabilities. Laparoscopic and joint replacement surgeries are among the many kinds of surgical procedures. The facility provides imaging services with the latest comprehensive capabilities in nuclear medicine, ultrasound, X-ray, mammography, CT, MRI, PET/CT services and stereotactic breast biopsy services.
