We are currently accepting applications for the position of Full-Time Attending Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician (PM&R).

The Department of Physical Medicin and Rehabilitation has a compliment of 5.5 FTE Attending Physicians to precept and supervise our Rehabilitation Medicine Residents and Therapists in it's inpatient and outpatient services at both Jacobi Medical Center and North Central Bronx Hospital.

The Attending Physician precepts and supervises the following:

-   The 24 bed inpatient rehabilitation medicine unit which includes admissions, medical and rehabilitative care throughout the stay, and discharges.

 -  Provide Attending Physician 24/7 on-call coverage for the inpatient rehabilitation medicine unit including weekends and holidays

The outpatient daily practice sessions:
         -Jacobi Medical Center = a combination of 12 morning and afternoon sessions each week
         -North Central Bronx Hospital = a combination of 12 morning and afternoon practice sessions

Consultation Service:

         - Requests for a full patient assessment of those with significant functional deficits or identified at risk of developing functional deficits
