Orthopedic PA -- Ketchikan, Alaska
Orthopedic group seeks experienced PA, ideally with a minimum of 2-3 years in Orthopedics to join one full-time Ortho Surgeon and 2 full-time Ortho PA\'s with 1:3 call. Enjoy autonomy, while also collaborating well with the surgeon and additional PA and operating room teams. The group is doing about 30 case per month; 45 total joints per year.
Qualified candidates will be: Experienced and comfortable with first assist in surgeries including hip, knee and should arthroscopy, hand, foot and ankle surgeries, and total joints and comfortable seeing 12-15 patients per day in the clinic and rounding on patients in the hospital. Have sports medicine experience and comfortable with some pediatric orthopedics .
