Actively recruiting a Breast Fellowship trained Surgeon to join a multi-specialty surgical clinic. There are 13 surgeons in the practice and only one is a breast surgeon. This is the oldest and largest surgical referral clinic in the state. The group provides comprehensive general care as well as multi-specialty care to the entire state. The need for recruitment is due to the overwhelming need in the community for additional breast surgeons. There are currently very few surgeons available to meet the demand and the existing physician has an excessively busy practice. He is seeing an average of 250 patients in 2.5 clinic days, and is performing over 38 surgeries per week. The incoming surgeon will have the opportunity to step into a full practice based solely on the referrals from the existing surgeon. This opportunity is very flexible and the candidate can determine whether they prefer an employment model or a private-practice model. There is no general surgery or trauma call required with this position. Practice is located in a bustling metropolitan area with one university and two private colleges offering theater productions, concerts, art exhibits, and nationally known guest speakers. The arts flourish in this city as well as fine and casual dining. A popular river area features live music, restaurants and shops. The area is located next to a large outdoor amphitheater where concerts, movie nights and festivals with well-known performers are often held. This exciting town is also home to the state’s Symphony Orchestra and Ballet. Several theaters, comedy clubs, jazz and blues bars, and energetic dance clubs also host numerous events year round. Outdoor lovers will not be disappointed with numerous rivers, lakes, parks, hiking trails and camping sites readily available for the whole family to enjoy!
