We are a national multi-specialty physician practice, a group of surgeons, family practitioners, internists, and geriatricians that provide wound management to geriatric patients in skilled nursing facilities and rehabilitation facilities by making rounds with the wound care nurse seeing patients at bedside.
Our comprehensive approach is to provide wound patients with efficient and proper wound care at the nursing and rehabilitation facilities as to avoid loss of limbs, reduce incidence of recurrence, and get the patients comfortable and stable. And so our approach has resulted in fewer hospitalizations, a reduced likelihood of prolonged or permanent disability, and an improved quality of life. The medical management portion of the practice also involves addressing the underlying cause of the wound—for example, nutrition, lack of exercise, hygiene, ill-fitting shoes—to help eliminate recurrence by making recommendations to the nurses assigned, the wound care nurse, nutritionist and physical therapists at the facility.
• The schedule is Monday thru Friday, 7:00a – 4:00p.
• There are no calls, no nights and no weekends.
• The opportunity is both full time and part time at 3 day minimum.
• The compensation is productivity based on fee schedule.
• Our average makes $220,000/yr seeing 100 patients /wk.
• We pay up front, monthly, based on billing; not collections.
• We do all the billing and collections.
• Malpractice is provided, which also covers tail.
