Philhaven is a non-profit behavioral healthcare organization offering a wide range of holistic services for children, adolescents, adults and older adults in south central Pennsylvania.
We currently have a full-time Child/Adolescent Staff Psychiatrist position available.
The staff psychiatrist is responsible to diagnose and treat psychiatric disorders within a diverse patient population. Treatment is provided through a variety of levels of care and by referral to various mental health and medical service providers. A psychiatrist is the primary provider of medical assessment and intervention through chemotherapy, but maintains the responsibility for the oversight of the patient’s overall program of care to insure the patient’s psychiatric needs are adequately and effectively met. A multidisciplinary team approach with clinical leadership by the psychiatrist and opportunities to interact within the psychiatry group are valued.
This position will be working with Children and Adolescents with various outpatient services.
