We are actively recruiting for our client, a renoun mental health leader which has
has an exciting opportunity for a talented and dynamic Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a growing, well-respected, mission-focused organization that Offers Hope and Healing to Those Suffering From Psychiatric
Conditions and Addictions. In addition to working with children with psychiatric
conditions, the position also works with adolescents who have psychiatric
conditions and/or addictions.
Starting salary from $260,000 to $300,000 dependent on experience and
qualifications, plus productivity-based compensation

Inpatient as well as clinic and/or residential
On call schedule: 1 in 6 weekend with extra pay for more frequent on call
38 bed Child/Adolescent Inpatient unit with average daily census around 30.
Children and adolescents are treated in different programs.
Average length of stay is 14 days. Ages are from 3 to 22 with generally 1/3
being children and 2/3 adolescents although the relative proportion varies
over time.
Psychiatrist performs admission evaluations, assessments, ongoing treatment,
medication management and discharge services. Directs treatment team.
Caseload is up to 16 inpatients per day with remainder of caseload shared
with staff Child-Adolescent Psychiatrists
Provider works on PHP (Partial Hospital Program), averaging up to 10 patients
on caseload (required to be seen once per week).
FP does medical consult including medical history and physical exam
