Organization Profile The Devereux Foundation, founded in 1912 in Pennsylvania, planted roots in Florida in 1987 to create Devereux Florida. The organization has grown by leaps and bounds to meet the needs of children in Florida. Today, Devereux Florida operates almost 50 programs in 38 counties statewide, touching the lives of over 13,000 children on an annual basis. It is Devereux�s Philosophy of Care to provide these services on an individualized basis, in the least restrictive environment possible. Devereux Florida is unique in that we offer the full continuum of behavioral health, child welfare and developmental disabilities services to individuals in settings ranging from abuse/neglect prevention programs, community outreach programs, counseling centers, mobile response team, early learning programs, child welfare case management, family support and visitation center, a variety of foster care programs, shelter program. Group homes, residential treatment centers, statewide inpatient psychiatric programs, children�s psychiatric hospital, and a dual diagnosis center for children and adolescents with symptoms of both mental illness and intellectual/developmental disabilities. Detailed Description Be a part of creating meaningful, independent and productive lives for our clients who receive services from our Devereux Florida residential programs. (We have a current opening for a part time Psychiatric ARNP.) The ARNP position will allow you to find purpose and give you room to grow in the largest not-for-profit provider of services to children and families in Florida. All PT ARNP's are expected to implement our Philosophy of Care which is to provide: Individual Services Effective and Accountable Services Utilize Positive Approaches Shift Available: 1st 7am-3pm and be avail to cover when Dr. is out As an ARNP, you will be expected to actively provide services for Campus, IDD Group Homes, Therapeutic Group Homes, and Melbourne Outpatient center. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Complete face to face asessments Prescription of psychotoropic medications appropriate for client needs Administer medications as appropriate, including the provision of injection Monistor clients' response to psychotropic medicatioins Conduct screenings and intake evaluations Establish mental health diagnoses Develop treatment plans Provide medication management services Document all sessions and maintain clinical records Participate in treatment team Conduct client teachings and staff trainings Provide coverage for doctors when they are not available Important things to know about this job�.
