Description Job/Practice Description: Contractor shall document responses to claim requests within the Automated Management Information System (AMIS) using the Compensation and Pension Records Interchange (CAPRI) templates for transmission to documentation record. Responses to claim requests are typed directly into the CAPRI templates and completed within 48 hours of the exam and/or diagnostic test results. Clinical findings shall be documented, via keyboard entry, in CAPRI and the Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS). . Records will be complete, timely, and in compliance with facility policies, Medical Staff Bylaws, and the Joint Commission (JC).Evaluations performed by the contract psychologist must meet all relevant quality standards required by the Veterans Benefit Administration (VBA) and the Compensation and Pension Examiners Program (CPEP). Evaluations performed are for diagnosis/prognosis only, not for treatment. The psychologist/ Psychiatrist must be proficient in diagnosing a wide array of psychological disorders to include, but not limited to, PTSD and disorders related to sexual trauma. Experience in performing disability evaluations is preferred. Work Schedule: Working eight hours per day/five days per week. Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Qualifications: BC/BE Psychiatrist , A Psychologist must be licensed in a State, possess a doctorate level degree from a program accredited by the APA, and must have completed an APA accredited internship.
