Maxim Government Services is seeking a Physician (MD/DO) to provide part time services, up to 40 hours/week at the United States Penitentiary (USP). The USP house incarcerated males who are being held under the authority of the Federal Government by the Federal Bureau of Prisons. The United States Penitentiary-Canaan is a high security institution housing male inmates, with a satellite camp that houses male minimum security inmates. The facility is located in the most northeastern county in Pennsylvania, 20 miles east of Scranton, and 134 miles north of Philadelphia. Providers will always have security with them. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: The minimum qualifications for performing as a Physician shall include the submission of proof of attendance to an accredited school resulting in an appropriate degree. The individual must be a licensed Physician in the state of Pennsylvania. Have three letters of reference from individuals within the healthcare profession who have knowledge of the individuals skills and abilities and work ethics as a Physician, and be in good standing in the Healthcare Community.
