Pulmonary/ Intensivist Opportunity:
An established 5 member private pulmonary practice that currently provides inpatient pulmonary and critical care services is partnering with a hospital to develop a formal in-house intensivist program and seeks two additional BC/BE pulmonary/critical care physicians in order to expand the program. The critical care unit is an open model. This pulmonary group receives referrals from a 13 county referral area which helps assure that the patient base would be comprised of a high acuity level and allow a candidate to utilize all of his/her medical skills on a daily basis. This established group is seeking a partner to join them in the private practice setting inpatient and outpatient, and expand an already existing intensivist program--- they are committed to finding someone who wants to join a practice and integrate into the community. They have long standing relationships with the referring physicians in this community and are looking for a physician who wants to be part of that. Please be advised this group does not practice on a block rotation schedule---this is NOT a 12 hr shift, hospitalist situation and this group is seeking someone pulmonary trained ,who wants to integrate into a group and a be part of the Wiregrass community.
