Description Our client has an urgent need for a locums to permanent Board Certified Pulmonary/Critical Care physician to come on board at their beautiful facility located in central Montana starting ASAP! In this job opportunity, the physician will be a significant part of the Pulm/CC community – a much needed sub-specialty. He or she will see 80% patients on the outpatient side and 20% on the inpatient side. The coverage schedule is Monday – Friday, 8A – 5P and there is flexibility according to the physician’s preference. There are 10 days of call required per month and there is much flexibility with that too; but hey, it just means extra financial compensation! There are Hospitalists on-site to help and they run the ICU. 12-20 outpatients; if COPD follow-ups and the like, then they go quicker; if new patients etc., then they may need more time. All discharges and admissions are handled by Hospitalists. There is Anesthesia backup 24/7 and an 8-bed ICU. There's so much more to tell about this role, but we can't tell it all here, or you'd spend all day reading this instead of calling us to actually be able to connect with the client! Credentialing can be done on an emergency basis, and at this point, this is an emergency! Will you jump in and save the day for our client? Just to let you know, they don't call this "Big Sky Country" for nothing! There are tons of outdoor sports such as skiing, hiking, camping, water sports, and so much more for you to participate in; so when you are done saving lives, you can live it up outside of work too! This community also boasts several museums, performing arts, a symphony, and some really cool restaurants! Did we mention the pay is fantastic? What are you waiting for?
