A hospital in south eastern Georgia is seeking a Pulmonologist/Critical Care physician. This is an employed position or you could start your own practice independently with a two year contract from the hospital. As an employee of the hospital, the ideal candidate will enjoy excellent benefits to go along with a $300,000 salary and a $150,000 signing bonus. The call is 1:4. The current Pulmonologist has built a large sleep business in the region. He is cutting back on his pulmonary practice and is going to devote more time to sleep. He is willing to share some of the sleep with the new Pulmonologist but would prefer that the new doctor establish him/herself first in the pulmonary/CC practice before trying to take on the sleep business he has built. It is anticipated that when the current physician retires the new Pulmonologist will take over the entire sleep business.
