The Cancer Center currently employs one Medical Oncologist, certified Oncology Nurses, Radiation Therapists and Dosimetrist. Up-to-date technology including IIMRT and modern computerized treatment planning system. They have an active multidisciplinary tumor board. The facility is a regional hospital that sees almost NO managed care. They have an average of 28,000 ER visits, 4,000 surgeries and 300-400 deliveries annually. The offer state of the art diagnostic services, including in-house MRI, 64-slice CT and digital Mammo. The Cancer Center is accredited by the Commission on Cancer and provides comprehensive cancer care including clinical trials. They are the only hospital with a cancer center within 55 miles and services an area of 100k. They have a large primary care base which provides a large referral source.
