This freestanding cancer center recently lost their Radiation Oncologist due to medical reasons and is in need of a full-time locums physician to begin in September. Work would be ongoing until a permanent physician can be secured. There is also great potential for the right candidate to go permanent. A typical day is Monday-Friday, 8:00-5:00, with no evening or weekend call coverage required. Procedures include IMRT, 3D Conformal, and both Brachytherapy and HDR experience is warmly welcomed. Equipment includes an Elekta accelerator, Pinnacle treatment planning, and GE CT Scanner. Locums will have the support of a full office staff, RNs, three therapists, a physicist, and a dosimetrist.
