This is a hospital-based location within a federal prison complex. The need is for locums Radiation Oncology beginning immediately and lasting through the fall. The procedures are IMRT, Seed Implants, and Brachytherapy. The Oncology Department has its own wing in the hospital with Radiation and Medical Oncology. There are two Linear Accelerators, Radiation Techs, Dosimitrists, Physicists, and a Medical Oncologist. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM with night call and weekend call. You will see 30 PPD. North Carolina license required; Board Certification required. The location is near Raleigh-Durham and only hours from the magnificent North Carolina Sea Coast.
