Very rare Radiation Oncology locum tenens job opportunity in beautiful South Carolina. A two-physician, hospital-based group is looking to bring a third Radiation Oncologist on board for sporadic locums and permanent part-time work due to volume increase. Locums dates will be for sporadic vacation coverage, whereas the need for part-time/full-time (3-4 days per week) will be immediate. Candidates must be well spoken, articulate, BC/BE, and comfortable with IMRT and IGRT. Due to the high value placed on personal and family life with this practice, 3-4 day workweeks must be acceptable. Experience in stereotactic (SRS), SBRT, and seed implants is also a major plus. There is a full support staff, including two Radiation Oncology nurses, seven therapists, and office support. Machines include a Varian EX w/ IGRT upgrade, Electa Synergy S w/ IGRT, and a CT simulator. A typical day includes 50-60 patients under treatment, 2-3 new consults, and a few follow-ups. The Wednesday schedule is left open for treatment checks.
