This four-physician practice is down to three after a recent retirement and would like locums coverage in the interim of hiring a new Radiation Oncologist. They are looking for the right candidate to cover two weeks in September, October - November 28th, and January - June 2012 (full-time). This freestanding center has a full support staff, including nine Medical Oncologists, three RNs, one MA, three Dosimetrists, three Physicists, 10 Therapists, and a very efficient office staff. A typical day is Monday - Friday, 8:00a -5:00p, with no anticipated call coverage. Procedures for locums physician include IMRT, IGRT, 3D Conformal, and External Beam. All brachy, seeds, and stereotactic will be handled by the other physicians. This state-of-the-art center has a TOMO unit, two Varian EX Platinums, one Trilogy, a Phillips Widebore simulator/scanner, and Eclipse treatment planning. Locums physician will see and average of 8 - 12 PPD and 8 - 10 new consults.
