Radiation Oncologist needed for a hospital employed practice in Indiana. There is currently one Radiation Oncologist in the department who will be retiring spring 2012. The Department also employs a, dosimetrist, two part-time RTT's and a part-time physicist. They have one full time Medical Oncologist on staff who has increased their patient volume by 70% since May 2010. Hospital has recently hired one full time med/onc who has increased volume by almost 70% in less than a year. Radiation Oncology is seeing an average of 130 new patients per year. There is currently no Brachytherapy and Cyber/Gamma Knife is currently referred out. Construction is underway for their brand new state of the art hospital set to open in early 2013. With this will come a brand new Cancer Center to be adjacent to the hospital. Ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of practice experience.
