Academic Position with both Teaching and Patient Care
University Cancer Center is seeking a Radiation Oncologist to join its faculty. This center is a state-of-the-art facility with strong institutional support. Applicants must be board certified/board eligible. Responsibilities include teaching and patient care. There is opportunity available for those interested in clinical/basic research. The department is equipped with two Varian accelerators. Virtual simulation is conducted using a Toshiba 16-slice CT simulator equipped with MRI and PET fusion. IMRT and conformal beam treatments are routinely planned using Eclipse 3D and Helios planning systems. They have active Brachytherapy programs with VariSeed for prostate and Varian for HDR. Stereotactic radiosurgery is done with a new Perfexion Gamma Knife.
