Locums physician will literally drive along with the unit in his/her own car, or rental, and one other Radiation Oncologist, who will be in a separate automobile and responsible for all treatment planning, as well as machine operation. Locums physician will be used exclusively as a supervisor to sign off on pre- and post-HDR treatments and to ensure treatment matches patients. A typical day will entail 10-12 hours per day of driving around the coastal region with no call, visiting 6-7 locations, and seeing 7-9 patients.
