Excellent locum tenens job opportunity for a Radiation Oncology doctor in northwestern Pennsylvania. A regional cancer center needs coverage beginning ASAP for several months. This is a modern, state-of-the-art cancer center associated with one of the leading university cancer programs in the United States. The new cancer center employs two oncologist/hematologists and a radiation oncologist; a physicist; a multi-disciplinary team consisting of registered nurses certified in oncology; a clinical protocol nurse; certified medical dosimetrists; registered radiation therapists; a tumor registrar; laboratory technicians; a pharmacist; and pharmacy technicians. Schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8AM-4:30PM, with evening and weekend call. You will see 15-18 PPD. Required procedures include HDR, IMRT, IGRT, and 3D Planning. Location is near Lake Erie and less than two hours from Pittsburgh.
