Wonderful locum tenens job opportunity for a Radiation Oncologist in North Carolina. A cancer center needs sporadic vacation coverage throughout the year. The cancer center is located inside the hospital and includes a full-service oncology facility. Full clinical support staff includes Oncology RNs and a staff Hematologist. This facility is equipped with state-of-the-art radiation therapy equipment and typical procedures include External Beam Therapy, IMRT, and IGRT (no Brachytherapy). You will see about 21 PPD and work Monday-Thursday, 8-5, and Friday 8-1. You are replacing the only Radiation Oncologist on-site, so evening call, Monday though Thursday, is required.
