Excellent locum tenens job opportunity for a Radiation Oncology doctor in Pennsylvania. A regional hospital needs vacation coverage this summer. This is a freestanding, state-of-the-art cancer center located near the hospital. The new cancer center employs two oncologist/hematologists and a radiation oncologist; a physicist; a multi-disciplinary team consisting of registered nurses certified in oncology; a clinical protocol nurse; certified medical dosimetrists; registered radiation therapists; a tumor registrar; laboratory technicians; a pharmacist; and pharmacy technicians. Schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8AM-4:30PM, with evening and weekend call. You will see 20 PPD. Required procedures include HDR, IMRT, IGRT, 3D Planning, and they have the new Trilogy Linear Accelerator.
