Excellent locum tenens job opportunity for a Radiation Oncologist in the beautiful Bluegrass State of Kentucky. The hospital needs coverage November 1st - 19th. The successful candidate will be Board Certified. Procedures include IMRT, LDR, and 3D Planning. Locum tenens will see 10-15 PPD and work in a state-of the-art cancer center located in a 410-bed regional hospital fully staffed with two HemOnc physicians. Hours are M-F, 8 AM to 5 PM. Consults at the beginning of the week, with follow-ups and procedures at the end of the week. Very few new admissions, mostly consults. The location is an outdoorsman’s paradise. Nestled in the Lakes Region of western Kentucky, this 20,000 population city offers all the natural wonders of biking, hiking, camping, fishing, and boating.
