This position will begin immediately, and coverage will be needed until a permanent physician can be hired. A typical day will be from 7:30 - 5:00, Monday – Friday, with no anticipated call; will include a patient volume of 15-18 per day (including 5 new consults and 1-3 follow-ups per week). The right candidate will be comfortable in a high acuity setting and will have the support of 5 techs, 1 RN, 5 medical oncologists, and an on-site physicist and dosimitrist. Procedures and equipment include External Beam, Stereotactic, HDR, IMRT, Multileaf, Pet CT, TOMO, Rapid Arc, and 3D Planning.
