Job/Practice Description: To accommodate an expansion of services within our radiation oncology department, we are looking for one full time staff addition to complement our existing physicians on site. This is a full time position, following standard Monday-Friday business hours, 40 hours per week. This is a locums opportunity, running for at least one year (12 full months of service) with the option to extend beyond that or be hired on permanently. Start date will be as soon as you can get credentialed/awarded privileges.
Each day, you will be expected to complete 2-3 consults, 4-8 follow ups and meet with about 20 patients currently on treatment. In addition to your position & 2 other radiation oncologists, there are (3) radiation therapists, (1) RN OCN certified, (1) part time physicist, (1) administrative staff member, (1) dosimetrist and (1) nurse practitioner to support.
