Department of Veterans Administration is seeking 2 per diem Interventional Radiologist physicians in northeast New Jersey. One physician position is a full time position which will require on-site services for 40 hours per week, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The second position is for on-call coverage for weekends, holidays, evenings and nights Monday-Friday, 4:30 p.m. to 7:59 a.m.; and 24 hour coverage per weekend day and Federal Holiday. The contract will be for one year beginning February 1, 2010, with 4 one year options to extend contract. Interventional Radiology services will include at least some of the following procedures: Arteriovenous Malformations AVM, Angiography, Balloon Angioplasty, Biliary Drainage and Stenting, Central Venous Access, Emoblization and ChemoEmbololization, Hemodialysis Access Maintenance, Gastrostomy tubes, Renal Biopsy, Stenting and Stent-Grafting, Radiofrequency Ablations RFA, and more. Qualifications include: Fellowship-trained in Interventional Radiology; board certified by the American Board of Radiology; and have both current ACLS certification and current CAQ status in Interventional Radiology; must possess an unrestricted medical license in the state of New Jersey.
