The Opportunity:
* 100% Neuroradiology practice; join two others in the Neuroradiology section of a department staffed by 14 Pediatric Radiologists; department has 100,000 studies/yr
* Pediatric Radiology CAQ is preferred, Neurorad candidates with extensive experience in the Pediatric casework will be considered
* The department has two 1.5 T Philips Intera MRI scanners, PET CT and a Phillips Brilliant 16 16-slice CT scanner
* The practice is entirely filmless (and has been since it opened in 2002) and is on PACS
* By 2011, equipment will include: a 3T Philips MR with Multi-Transmit technology, Brilliance iCT 256 slice and Brilliance 64-slice, Brightview SPECT x for NM, Digital Diagnost DVM and Easy Diagnost Eleva DRF x4, and Gemini TF PET CT
* Department has the only dedicated pediatric interventional radiology center in the Southwest
* After hours call is shared nights and weekends, with telerad backup
* Referrals come from the comprehensive Pediatric Neurosciences Institute, all of Arizona and from surrounding states
