Interventional Radiology Opening in Columbia, South Carolina with the WJB Dorn VA Medical Center

That tradition continues until today. The WJB Dorn VA is a 216 bed facility that has primary, secondary and some tertiary care.
This hospital based position is for a full time Interventional Radiologist, the hours will be Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Qualifications:
Candidates must
• Meet all licensing/certification requirements to perform as an Interventional Radiologist
• Be a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Osteopathy (DO) who is board certified in radiology
• Have and maintain a valid, unrestricted license in one of the 50 states in the US or the District of Columbia, The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the US Virgin Islands.
• Be a US Citizen
• Have been continuously employed in the practice of Radiology or in training for the two years prior to the commencement of services.
• Have and maintain current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Have sufficient experience to be able to adequately perform interventional radiology to include:
EVARS Biopsies to include, but not limited to:
Core
Fine needle drain placement
Fluid drainage PICC lines Dialysis catherters
Angios to include, but not limited to:
Arterial angiogra
Peripheral stent placement
Peripheral angioplasty
Visceral angioplasty
Visceral stent placement
Carotid arterial grams with selective studies
Arterial Oblations
Vena grams
Venous filter plug placement
Dialysis graft studies
Graft repair
