The Veterans Integrated Service Network VISN is seeking Radiology teleradiology services from a U.S. company. This will include routine interpretations and stat interpretations including preliminary read available 24 hours/day, 365 days/year. This is a one year contract, with two 12 month renewable contracts. The contractor will provide professional teleradiology services for radiology examinations at VISN Medical Facilities. Contract services will include off-campus film interpretation. All services will be done via a secure web-based system provided by the contractor. Contractor must be a U.S. based corporation capable of preliminary and final interpretation and reporting services via the contractor's secure web enabled teleradiology network. Interpretation will be conducted by a board certified radiologist. Contractor will provide all professional personnel and technical support, medical and other equipment, telecommunication and transcription services, supplies, and supervision necessary to perform these services. The contractor is responsible for all contractor personnel, subcontractors, agents, and anyone acting for or on behalf of the contractor. Prospective providers must present appropriate credentialing information including: M.D. or O.D. degree; board certification in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology; current licensure in state of practice - NY state preferred; clinical practice experience of at least 2 years; VA experience preferred; general liability and malpractice insurance; barrier free environment.
