Wexner Medical Center at The Ohio State University is currently seeking candidates for the position of Chief, Division of Women’s Imaging and the Stefanie Spielman Chair in Breast Cancer Research. Wexner Medical Center at The Ohio State University Department of Radiology, in partnership with the Comprehensive Cancer Center - Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, Division supervision and oversight, patient care, research, and training graduate and postgraduate students. This includes conference presentations, tutorial sessions and formal lectures, both within and outside of the Department of Radiology. Clinical services will be performed primarily in a teaching setting with fellow, resident or medical student observation and participation.
Our facilities are designated ACR “Breast Imaging Centers of Excellence” and are MQSA certified. Operating primarily in The Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center, the Division provides general women’s imaging (3T MR, 128-slice CT, ultrasound), along with screening and diagnostic digital mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MR, and a full image-guided biopsies (stereo, US, MR). Our on-site medical team includes dedicated breast radiologists, surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and pathologists who are dedicated to and specialize in the integrative detection and treatment of breast disease.
The OSUCCC-James (http://cancer.osu.edu) is one of only 40 Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the United States designated by the National Cancer Institute; and boasts a nationally ranked cancer hospital. The recently opened The Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center is a state-of-the-art facility that includes services such as: screening and diagnostic imaging; medical, surgical and radiation oncology; microsurgical breast reconstruction; access to the latest clinical trials; chemotherapy suites; a lymphedema clinic; oncology rehabilitation; pharmacy; and nutritional and psychological counseling.
