Job Description
Tanana Valley Clinic (TVC) is a multi-specialty group with 40+ providers and departments including pediatrics, family practice, urgent care, OB/GYN, internal medicine, occupational medicine, dermatology, orthopedics, general surgery, and urology. There is a need for a Vascular Surgeon in Fairbanks, but the candidate must be also willing to practice as a general surgeon. We estimate the split to be 60--70% vascular surgery, 30--40% general surgery while establishing the vascular program. Call will be approximately 10 days per month.
Specifics:
Base salary of $400 thousand. Given median RVU production nationally, a TVC vascular/general surgeon, working 70% vascular/30% general, will earn $800 thousand per year in combined base salary and production pay.
$60 thousand, divided between sign-on bonus, relocation, and/or tuition repayment based on candidate preference
$5 thousand per year for CME, registration, licenses, board certification & other professional expenses
